This privacy policy applies to the BioLabNote app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by [email protected] (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
BioLabNote is designed with privacy in mind. The Application DOES NOT collect, store, or share your personal data, experiment records, or photos on our servers. All data created within the app is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account (if you have enabled iCloud backup on your device). The Service Provider has no access to your data.
The Application requires access to your device's Camera and Photo Library. This access is used strictly for the purpose of allowing you to attach images to your experiment records and set profile pictures. These images are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload your photos to any external servers or use them for any other purposes.
Since the Application operates locally, the Service Provider does not collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address, usage logs, or page visit statistics. The Application does not use any third-party analytics services that track your behavior.
We do not share your information with third parties. No data is transmitted to external services for advertising or analytics purposes.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling the application may result in the deletion of your data from the device unless you have backed it up to iCloud.
The Application is a utility tool for researchers and students. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Since your data is stored on your device, it is protected by your device's security features (such as FaceID, TouchID, and Passcode). We recommend keeping your device security updated to protect your experiment data.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.
